About Me

   I graduated from West Texas A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in 2000. I taught school for a couple of years before realizing that I really wanted to spend my time writing. I published my first book, Death of a Cantankerous Old Coot, in November 2011.

I’m a daughter and a mother who loves sports, and currently live in Central Illinois near my awesome son. While this blog is about writing, don’t be surprised if other topics pop up. I will probably post something goofy and funny once in a while; I have a wicked sense of humor and find almost anything funny.
